RPPC Columbia River Heights Portland OR 1919 Velox Photo PC WWI Camp Lewis WACONDITION: The original sepia photo postcard shows corner and edge wear, fading, silvering, foxing, and staining. The front left of the photo has handwritten: \"1 May 1919 Portland, Ore Columbia River Heights\" and a signature name \"M. N. Chomgonskey \". On the back, in the stamp area, is printed VELOX with four diamonds, dating the card between 1907 and 1914. However, the photo was probably taken in 1919, and they used old photo stock. The back of the unposted postcard also shows foxing, toning, fading, and staining. Also written on the back of the postcard: • \"Mech. Peter Stevens\" (Mechanic Peter Stevens) \"M.G. Co. 1st Inf.\" (Machine Gun Company, 1st Infantry) \"Camp Lewis, Wash.\" The postcard is standard size, roughly 3-1/2\" x 5-1/2\". Please review all photos carefully for condition.
