Offered here is a seldom seen Robeson 622100 Jimmie Allen jack knife in very good vintage condition. Its carbon steel clip point blades measure from 1 3/4 to 2 5/8 inches, have some surface blemishes and small pits but have strong “walk and talk” snaps (4 times; half stop, open, half stop, close). Its handle measures 3 5/16 inches, has nickel silver bolsters, brass pins and liners, solid jigged bone scales, and the very sought after JIMMIE ALLEN wings shield in nickel silver. Pocket knife is pictured in Goin’s Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings book, page 232. In the early 1920s, Robeson was considered one of the best knife makers in the world.
