RETIRED Dept 56 Christmas in the City St Paul Chapel in MINT condition - New in Box #4020173.
This charming reproduction of the beloved New York City church was introduced by Dept 56 in Dec 2011 and retired in Dec 2012. This specific piece is new in the box and in mint condition. The box was slightly damaged in storage (see photo), which did not effect the contents.
St. Pauls Chapel is the oldest church in New York City, where President George Washington attended service after his inauguration in 1789. Located directly across the street from the World Trade Center, St. Paul\'s survived the tragic destruction of the World Trade Center and became a refuge and sanctuary for first responders and volunteers (last two photos show the real chapel in context).
