RARE! American Emblem Company powered by Hammond - Extreme Deco Clock -Works.Beautiful high style modernist clock c.1930.The label states it was designed and made by American Emblem Co. of Utica, NY and powered by a Hammond Electric movement.The clock is quite heavy, weighing 2.6lbs. It displays beautifully. The heavy chrome plateing is only worn around the turn knobs on the back. There is light wear to the black outer ring of the base along the edge. The original cord is present and should be replaced for safety. I did plug it in and the clock ran well after a few turns of the starter knob. Overall, this is a great example of an incredibly rare clock.Base is 6\" Diameter and clock is 6.25\" tall.
