Original 1989 White House Christmas card from President George H. W. Bush and First Lady Barbara Bush, featuring Hallmark’s William T. Gemmell’s artwork “Celebrating Christmas at The President’s House.” The winter night scene shows the South Portico of the White House in falling snow, decorated with wreaths and garlands, printed in soft pastel tones on textured stock with blue and gold borders.
The original “The White House” envelope and tissue sheet are present and show some wrinkling, edge wear, and age toning, while the card has minimal wear, and the artwork displays very nicely. This 1989 Bush Christmas card is a beautiful, frame‑worthy item for collectors of presidential memorabilia, political history, or White House holiday ephemera. Please review all photos carefully for exact condition, envelope wear, and design details.
