Been away from selling for quite a while, but it\'s time to start moving some of my collection.
Offered here is an original WWII AAF patch for the 773rd Bombardment Squadron. This is painted on canvas material and I am not sure why there is a tail on the left side, but my guess would be that it was to hold the patch while it was being painted and was intended to be removed. The paint has very little surface wear, has good detail and not a common piece to find. The reverse has some residual scrapbook material remaining attached. The patch is 5 1/2 inches in diameter. A nice example. I would think the tab should be removed for appearance sake, but I like the as found look and if I am correct in why it is there, nice to see how this was produced.All items are described as accurately as I can manage, but should there be a discrepancy in the description and the item is not as described, it is returnable. Any other reason, such as buyers remorse does not qualify for a return. Shipping will be whatever the postal charge is, I try to reuse packing materials to keep the cost down and will combine shipping whenever possible. If there is a shipping charge assessed by where multiple items are purchased and combining the items could not be done, I will refund shipping wherever possible for multiple purchases. Please advise if you intend to offer on additional items that close within a day or so of each other and I will try to make sure they ship together.
