Original Glass Globe in the Original Box. Excellent condition except for chip on the rim of the glass.

- The Cincinnati Advertising Products Company: was in business from the 1930’s to the 1970’s in Cincinnati, OH. The company made signs called taxi cab lights, or also more commonly known today as cab lights.
This gas globe light belonged to my dad. I don\'t know the history. However, I suspect this was a globe light that was never used. It was likely found damaged so they got a replacement for it.My dad had this in storage since the 1940s.
This is true automobile Americana that is extremely rare and significant. Based on the information above, this National Refining Company Gas globe served the first premium motor fuel. The producer was the Cincinnati Advertising Products company that was mostly known for Tax Cab lights. The globe and box should be in a museum.
