Supported by beautiful heavy ornate brass hardware, including four sturdy lion-paw feet.The interior is lined with clean, pristine sage green velvet, and the hinges remain tight, secure, and snappy. Original red and gold foil "Onyx by Prof. G. Bessi, Volterra" maker's sticker is completely intact on the bottom. Measures approximately 2 1/2" H x 5" x 7" and weighs a substantial 3 pounds.
