Item for sale is a 4.84g slice of NWA 15893 EH6 meteorite, which was purchased out of Morocco in 2022 as a dark brownish rock with some fusion crust. The meteorite displays a fine-grained granular texture dominated by 20 to 300 µm sized enstatite and sodic feldspar grains. Opaque phases are Si-bearing kamacite, schreibersite, troilite, daubréelite, niningerite, and Cr-bearing troilite. No relict chondrules detected. Classification: Enstatite chondrite (EH6a). EH designation based on silicon content in kamacite and presence of niningerite. EHa subgroup based on Cr contents in troilite, Fe contents in (Mg,Fe,Mn)S, and high abundance of daubréelite (Weyrauch et al,. 2017). This meteorite would make a great addition to any collection and comes with a Big Kahuna Meteorites Certificate of Authenticity / Specimen Card.
