To be clear it is for a smaller wrist - please be sure to check the given measurements against your own) From an Old Fort Lowell historic neighborhood estate in Tucson is this I believe 1930\'s or so Navajo silver bracelet with a charismatic trio of local lapidary robin\'s egg turquoise stones. Visual evidence of the cuff being cast and forged ingot metal is both plentiful and obvious. Relatively thick handmade bezels with prominent saw cut serrations elevate the look, along with well accomplished silver drops and applied vertical cast and filed silver bars at the shoulders. A traditional and correct elongated \"C\" shaping completes the picture. The aesthetic here is solidly prewar tribal, with no connection to any so called Fred Harvey style jewelry of the period. While it may have been discovered by a visitor at some remote trading post rest stop in the hinterlands, I do not think this particular ornament was really intended for that audience. Weight is very good for the form at about 49.4 grams on my portable digital scale. Condition is quite fine with a nice aura of time to the surfaces. Be aware I have avoided every urge to refresh or \"improve\" upon any natural toning - you want that done you do it. The stones show appropriate signs of wear and patination. All normal and expected evidence of previous service simply validates the history. That\'s basically nitpicking for the obsessive and a look at the pics should give a good idea of appearance and condition. Inner circumference is about 5 3/4 in. plus the 3/4 in. opening - definitely for a ladies (or in any case smaller) wrist.About 17/32 in. wide at the front, and yes it will be noticed. If you prefer genuinely vintage / antique over more recent homage, or simply prefer a single immediate improvement to the ambiance of each day, this will have great meaning for you.
