Murano Glass Bowl Giulio Radi for A.V.E.M. MCM VTG .
Designed by Giulio Radi for the Venetian glassworks A.V.E.M. (Arte Vetraria Muranese) around the late 1940s to 1950s, this piece exemplifies post-war Italian modernism. Radi became famous for his technical experimentation with metallic foils, mineral oxides, and layered sommerso techniques that achieved an iridescent, stone-like aesthetic. Mid-century Murano glass from this period remains highly sought after worldwide by collectors of decorative art and modernist design. No chips or cracks.
