To clean tarnished .925 sterling silver jewelry, simply place about 1 tablespoons of baking soda in a bowl along with a quart to 1/2 cup of hot water. Then, place the tarnished jewelry in the bowl mixture, and let set for no longer than a 1/2 hour. Then polish/buff with a soft cloth. Another option is to use a pink eraser, and rub gently to remove the tarnish.
