Up for sale is a rare, exceptional collector’s copy of Marvel Spotlight #2 (1972), featuring the landmark 1st appearance of Werewolf by Night. This is a true one-owner copy, purchased new off the newsstand by me and stored continuously in a strict smoke-free, climate-controlled home ever since. It has never passed through multiple hands, comic shops, or conventions. It is a completely fresh-to-market raw book.

In my personal assessment, this book sits comfortably in the 8.5 (VF+) to 9.0 (VF/NM) range.
Pressing & Cleaning: This book is 100% original, untouched, and unpressed. It has never been cleaned or altered in any way. For collectors looking to press a book for grading maximization, this is an ideal candidate.
Cover Flatness: The cover has excellent structural integrity. When inspected closely under a raking light source, there are no visible surface dents or impressions anywhere on the exterior.
Spine & Staples: Beautifully tight spine. The spine appears completely free of color-breaking spinal ticks.
The cover shows the clean, natural impression of the staples underneath from the original bindery process.
The staples themselves remain bright, shiny, and firmly attached with no migration or rust.
Manufacturing Note: There is a minor, small removal of paper resulting directly from the original printing process located at the top left of the front cover and matching the exact same position on the top right of the back cover. This is a factory production anomaly, not handling wear (see photos #2 and #13).
Interior: The pages are clean, structurally sound, and perfectly preserved.
