Hi I have this old nativity scene set. So what I have been told is this is French earthenware with a polychrome glaze. They are marked. They are marked delfts. Back in the late 1800s to the 1900s french factories decided to mimic Delft pottery. So they added delfts to the pottery as well. To make it similar to Delfts markings. Delft pottery made the blue and white as well as multi color pieces. Ive had it looked at and was informed not many out there. Its a great set. Hand Painted with a tin type glaze. Condition for being old is still good. Has a few places of nicks or chips on a few pieces. Nothing bad at all. Awesome set. Amazing tgst the French would mimic Delft marks. The sizes vary from 2 inches to 8 inches. Shipping has gone up again. This is a large set and hefty in weight.
