He was a British Military Officer during World War II and later a Diplomat. This has been displayed in my office for many years. Always a conversation piece. Heavy for its size, it measures 7 inches tall by 3.5 inches wide at the base. A amazing piece to add to your collection. This product is a large and heavy Hawaiian poi pounder made of basalt, dating back to the 18th-19th century.
