Lady with a mirror and Courting Gentleman 18 cmThis specific Volkstedt porcelain figural group, historically referred to as \"Boudoir\" or \"Le Toilette\", captures a timeless 18th-century courting scene of an aristocratic couple at a dressing table. Originating from the Aelteste Volkstedter Porzellanmanufaktur (the oldest porcelain manufactory in Thuringia, Germany), this piece is celebrated for its intricate hand-painted details, golden highlights, and signature Dresden-style porcelain \"lace\" on the lady\'s gown. There is one spot on the lady’s lace that has clearly been repaired. The rest of the lace is in tact (see photos for repair and close up of remaining lace).Mirror has some smudging that could likely be cleaned up, I just don’t want to damage the porcelain by trying to clean it.
