Vintage Fred Koch Brewery Drink Koch’s Beer Serving Tray 13” Dunkirk N.Y.Here’s a classic piece of Western New York breweriana: an original metal advertising serving tray from the Fred Koch Brewery of Dunkirk, New York.
“Drink Koch’s Beer – Since 1888”
Bold red lettering on a black ground frames a large red-and-cream diamond logo with the distinctive script “Koch’s” and “Since 1888” in the center. Curved gold lettering around the rim reads “Fred Koch Brewery” at the top and “Dunkirk, N.Y.” at the bottom. This is the well-known design produced for the brewery and dates roughly to the 1930s–1940s era.
Fred Koch Brewery was a long-running independent regional brewery that operated in Dunkirk from 1888 until 1985 (with a Prohibition interruption). It was a true local favorite known for Koch’s Beer, Golden Anniversary, Holiday Beer, and later Black Horse Ale before the brand eventually faded after the brewery closed.

• Diameter: approximately 13 inches
• Material: painted metal advertising tray
• Front graphics remain clear and colorful with strong visual impactCondition
This tray has lived a full life and shows it. There is noticeable surface rust, crusty spots, scratches, scuffs, and areas of paint loss/wear, especially around the rim and in the darker fields. The reverse is plain black and heavily scratched. It is not a pristine example — it’s honest and aged — but the graphics still pop and the piece retains plenty of vintage character and display appeal. Perfect for a breweriana collection, man cave, bar, or rustic décor where a little authentic wear adds to the story.Sold exactly as shown in the photos. Please examine the images carefully for the full condition story.A charming, well-worn survivor from one of New York’s classic small breweries.
