The Kizer Megatherium Ki4502A1 is an Elijah Isham-designed folding knife built around his distinctive Santoku-inspired modified Wharncliffe blade profile. The broad stonewashed CPM-S35VN blade is paired with a 6AL4V titanium frame and carbon fiber inlays, creating a substantial folder with the unmistakable geometric styling associated with Isham’s designs.
The Megatherium uses Isham’s “Edge Below Tab” flipper design, which positions the flipper below the cutting edge and allows it to disappear into the handle profile when the knife is open. A large blade opening also provides an additional deployment option, while caged ceramic ball bearings provide smooth action. The blade is secured by a titanium frame lock and the knife carries with a titanium tip-up pocket clip.
