I just received a few of these from Nepal and I am trying something different for a short time. I am offering this kukri at a Buy It Now price. The model listed here (I call it the Modern) has been extremely popularand these are the 301-400 run. BEWARE: There are now fake versions of this kukribeing sold elsewhere (including ). I suppose I should be flattered... For those who are familiar with my custom kukris, they need nointroduction, for others, I suggest that you Google McCurdy Kukri to findreviews. These are handmade exclusivelyfor me in Nepal by The Khukuri House, supplier of kukris to the British GurkhaRegiment in Kathmandu, the Gurkha Contingent of Singapore Police, the GurkhaReserve unit in Brunel and the Gurkha Museum in the UK. The kukri offered hereis my Neo Classic version of the kukri issued to Nepalese Gurkha troopsserving Great Britain in WWI and WWII. It is about 16 1/2" in overalllength with an 11" HEAVY (this one measures 3/8" thick at the spine),DOUBLE FULLERED, UNPOLISHED, high carbon steel, wickedly sharp blade. If youare looking for a display piece where it can be touched it may not beappropriate. The grip is rosewood with a full tang running through it making itsuper strong. The special brown sheath is made from genuine leather. I nowinclude a bio of the Biswakarma metal smith who created the kukri that you willreceive completely by hand. The blade ismarked with the trademark of the Khukuri House on one side and my name on theother side with the serial number (the kukri you receive will have a differentserial number than the one pictured and will be under 400). The quality of thisknife is incredible. My guarantee is this: If after close examination of thekukri, you don't agree that your kukri has a pedigree and quality at leastequal to any offered anywhere, return it within 14 days and I will return your money. PLEASE check my 100% response ANDMY RECENT response ON THIS IDENTICAL KUKRI. International buyers pleaseinquire about shipping costs before placing a offer - thanks!
