Unusual early 20th-century KAPKUP hip flask produced by the Wightman & Hough Co of Providence, Rhode Island. Dates to the Prohibition era, featuring a nickel silver body with fine vertical line decoration and a black decorative medallion depicting a woman in period dress.
The flask includes a removable drinking cup fitted over the base, along with a screw cap and attached retaining arm/tether.
The underside is stamped:

The November 1921 patent date places this design squarely in the early Prohibition period, making it an especially interesting piece for collectors of antique flasks, Prohibition memorabilia, vintage barware, and 1920s accessories.

Condition:
Antique pre-owned condition with age-related surface wear, scratches, tarnish, patina, spotting, and discoloration throughout. There is visible oxidation/residue around the neck, threads, and inside the cap consistent with age and previous use. The decorative medallion remains intact and displays well. The removable bottom drinking cup, screw cap, and retaining mechanism are all present.
