Up for sale is a beautiful, collector-grade J.A. Henckels Zwillingswerk Friodur 472 straight razor, crafted in Solingen, Germany. This is a highly sought-after 13/16" wide blade featuring a stunning, ornate floral-etched spine and a bright mirror polish.This razor has only been gently used a few times and has been meticulously cared for. The original plastic scales have a slight horizontal curve toward the left, which is very common for vintage polymers of this age. Because of this, the blade favors the right side when folding closed and will tap the right inner wall if you aren't guiding it. The pivot pin itself is nice and tight. The razor functions beautifully and closes fully with a careful hand, or the scales can be easily straightened by a collector.Thank you!
