Identified Iraq War US Army grouping.
Collection of items belonging to Army Reserve transport Soldier who was called back into service by the Individual Ready Reserve to support Operation Iraqi Freedom. He would deploy to Iraq three times as a truck driver. According to him, the convoys he was apart of would stretch on for miles, constantly moving supplies between Forward Operating Bases, and would be routinely attacked, not only by Iraqi insurgents, but also Kuwaiti bandits that would loiter at the border region between Iraq and Kuwait. I have at least 8 associated pictures from the Soldiers deployment, including one of him at Saddam Hussein’s palace, multiple of his personal truck, and a photo of the flag included in this grouping being flown from his vehicle. Further details on the Soldier and his service will be provided to the buyer. Included is:Two DCU uniform sets worn in-theater. They’re complete with deployment wear, and gasoline/grease stains from working with trucks.BDU shirt & PASGT helmet cover from his service with the 53rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team.Souvenir shirt from Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.American flag flown from his truck in-theater W/ provenance photo & unit pennant.Beret, UCP patch set, Army Commendation medal, challenge coin. Two Desert Voice magazines, souvenir postcards from Iraq, “ACE” awareness card, Military New Testament Bible, named laundry bag, & various field manuals.
