This is a beautiful modernist yellow \"Lisa\" bird from the Parvi (Flock) series, designed by American artist Howard Smith (1928-2021). Signed on the bottom.
Stoneware with a matte, monochrome yellow glaze and a contrasting brown- toned beak.
Approx. Measures :6.5\" tall by 8\" wide.
Depth approx. 2.8 inches.
Base: 2.5\" x 2\".
Very good general vintage condition with a damage on the beak. The yellow body is intact but has a chipped away to reveal the underlying material.
