I’d revise the listing to make that history clear without claiming provenance you can’t prove:
Title
Harley-Davidson 100th Anniversary Milwaukee Banner Pennant 1903-2003
Description
Large Harley-Davidson 100th Anniversary banner/pennant commemorating 1903–2003 and “100 Years of Great Motorcycles.”
This style of banner is believed to have been produced for the Harley-Davidson 100th Anniversary celebration in Milwaukee in 2003, when anniversary decorations and banners were displayed throughout the area. I cannot confirm that this particular example was actually hung during the event, so it is being offered simply as an original-period anniversary display banner.
Features the Harley-Davidson Motor Cycles 100th Anniversary winged emblem on a red and black background with “100 Years of Great Motorcycles” lettering. Made from a substantial vinyl-type material with metal grommets for hanging.
Condition: Pre-owned with storage and handling wear, including wrinkles/creasing and some minor surface marks. No specific provenance documenting where or whether this individual banner was displayed. Please review the photos closely for condition.
Measurements:
Approx 24”x45-1/4”
A substantial piece of Harley-Davidson 100th Anniversary memorabilia, particularly appealing to collectors of Milwaukee Harley history, dealership signage, and 2003 centennial material.
