Up for sale is a fascinating piece of American advertising history: a vintage box of Grandpa's Wonder Pine Tar Toilet Soap.
This rare estate find comes complete with the original, unused stamped bar of soap and its unique, historical paper insert addressing wartime resource shortages ("our stock is exhausted... because of Government restrictions on metal...").
Condition:
The exterior black-and-gold cardboard box displays excellent vintage graphics with expected edge wear, softening, and minor tears from age. The interior soap bar is unused and features the distinct crisp stamped lettering. The paper insert is intact with some yellowing. Please review all high-resolution photos for exact cosmetic condition.
A spectacular display piece for collectors of general store antiques, vanity collectibles, or unique World War II home-front memorabilia!
