Offered is a lovely antique late 17th Century to very early 18th Century Spanish brass candle holder in a form traditionally dated to circa 1690-1710. This is a really fine example with little feet to the bottom. The patina is excellent and consistent with centuries of care and use. It measures about 5 1/4 inches high and about 5 1/8 inches across and deep. Condition is very good overall, with an old patina and only one small age crack (see picture) to one side of the border (does not show on the underside) and no repairs noted. All in all a fine and attractive example of this desirable form, especially with the little feet!
