Glass Eye Studio is one of the oldest and largest privately owned hot shops in the United States, celebrated for its rich legacy of hand-blown artisan glass art. Founded in 1978 by a group of glass artist friends in a small alley of Seattle\'s famous Pike Place Market, the studio serves as a historic training ground and incubator for generations of Pacific Northwest glass artists.
Every piece of art is individually crafted by human hands and artisan glassblowers, never machines. A unique hallmark of their work is that each piece of glass contains real volcanic ash from the 1980 Mount St. Helens eruption.
This ornament measures 2.8 inches in diameter and is 4.1 inches tall with its attached clear glass hanging loop. You will need to attach a string, ribbon, or cord for hanging. This ornament is in excellent condition as pictured and even still has its Glass Eye Studio label attached.
