Obtained them at an sale many years ago (a small box of leftover pens from some Theranos promotional event). So here's your chance to pick up one as an inexpensive souvenir of the failed company Theranos where the founder, Elizabeth Holmes, is currently serving out her Federal prison sentence.
Theranos promised to make blood tests easier, faster and cheaper. Patients would benefit not just from a less painful procedure but also from cheaper tests which can currently prove expensive under the American health system. In doing so, the company would have challenged US market leaders such as Labcorp and Quest Diagnostics, who use tubes of blood for tests while the results take several days. These promotional pens were given out at meetings with companies like LabCorp and Quest to promote Theranos.Shipping these days makes it (unfortunately) a bit pricey these days to send just one. So hey, consider buying a few extras and give them our to friends as gifts...it's much cheaper per pen!! ;-)
