Extremely rare antique GE Junior tombstone radio from 1931. The radio is original as found, it has not been restored in any way. The cabinet could use refinishing but the wood, veneer, scrollwork, etc are all in excellent condition.
Includes the often missing top handle and copper mershon capacitors. Missing one wood knob on the radio and the knobs on the clock. Full set of tubes, including dual 45s. Speaker cone appears to be fully intact.
This radio is untested in any way, and must be electrically restored before it would be safe to plug in. It is sold as not working, needs restoration.
Unless otherwise requested by the buyer, this radio will be disassembled and shipped in parts to preserve the cabinet in transit. Local pickup greatly preferred if possible.
Thanks for looking! Once in a lifetime opportunity to add this beautiful antique tombstone to your rare radios collection.
