This reproduction Police Gamewell Callbox was casted in aluminum from the original tooling used in producing call boxes after 1925. This original style Gamewell was originally produced in pig iron in a factory located in New York.
Many police departments throughout the United States used this style call boxes and they can still be found in use although most have disappeared from me street corners
This Gamewell has been professionally Powder coated blue and hand-painted with gold highlights.
The Callbox comes with a brass lock and key and brass hinges and solid brass number plate. The box weighs 30 pounds and is 18 inches high by 12 inches wide and approximately 6 inches deep. Box has no internals but can be utilized with many different options (see photos)
