The Vintage Bowie is part of our Master Series knife kit line. It is a historic reproduction ofa final James Black design for Jim Bowie. This commemoration piece has been painstakingly recreated by National Living Treasure and Master Bladesmith, Jerry Fisk. With the Vintage Bowie knife kit, Jerry has reproduced a highly accurate tribute to the historic James Black final design for knife enthusiasts to build, study,and enjoy. The size of the Vintage Bowie is 10.25 inches overall with a 6.0 inch blade length. The blade is made from 9Cr13CoMoV (Equivalent SUS440C) stainless steel and features a 5.65 inch cutting edge. The blade width is 1.12 inches at the widest point and is 0.125 inches thick. The design features stainless steel bolsters and comes with (6) tang holes for handle fastening. All bolster and handle pins are included with this Master Series design.
