Many patches have only a limited quantity available for purchase. All “Printing Seconds” may have printing blemishes or other defects. Dots of ink out of place, small voids in the matt finish topcoat, irregularity in the matt finish topcoat, visible solas imprint, large dirt particles, or creases in the solas material. All of our Printing Seconds are guaranteed to look good at a reasonable distance.

Solvent Based Inks.All the inks we use on our patches are Solvent Based. Solvent based inks are better than digitallyprinted or UV inks because they adhere better and have a thicker inkdeposit. Solvent based inks will notfade, even if they are left outdoors for years.
Magic Black Infrared Ink.Magic Black is made and developed by Anytime Sign. We regulate the quality and the thickness forultimate opacity in the visible spectrum.In the infrared spectrum, Magic Black becomes transparent allowing fortheSolas3™Brand solas to reflect light back tothe Night Vision equipment, providing crystal- clear friend or foe identification.
Matt Top coat.Patches come with a standard Matt top coat to cut down on possible glarein the visible spectrum. The matttopcoat is screen printed and will not peel off like a laminate. In addition to cutting down on glare, thematt topcoat provides protection against scratching, and prolongs the life oryour patches (which take a lot of abuse).
