A wall relief made of mixed metals with real pre-Columbian pieces, originating from Mexico in the early 1940s. This piece showcases Mexican culture and craftsmanship, making it a unique and authentic collectible item. LC used fragments of Ancient terracotta head fragment, likely from the Classic Veracruz / Remojadas tradition, Mexico, ca. AD 300–900. Reddish-brown ceramic with large ear ornaments and traces of black surface material, possibly natural bitumen (chapopote/asphalt), a known decorative material used on Veracruz figurines. Shield is prominent green stone earspool/ear ornament whose form may show Mezcala or Guerrero stylistic influence. It is missing two small copper bells as shown. provenance of this piece adds historical significance to its value and appeal to collectors interested in Latin American cultures and ethnicities
