Up for sale is an original Ares Armor Combat XII Pack in MultiCam. This is the later 500D Cordura version of the Combat XII and is long discontinued.
The Combat XII was originally designed as a lightweight, short-duration patrol/assault pack. It features a compact main compartment with internal hydration/radio capability, two upper magazine pockets, two rear general-purpose pockets, external MOLLE/PALS, hydration/antenna ports, and removable shoulder straps.
The upper magazine pockets were designed to accommodate up to six 5.56 magazines or four 7.62 NATO/SASS magazines. The rear GP pockets can be accessed from either side, a feature originally intended to allow a teammate to access equipment while the pack is being worn.
This is a particularly handy pack for a short patrol, reconnaissance, range, airsoft/milsim, or compact assault-pack setup. It carries considerably smaller than a traditional 3-day assault pack.
