Description: Interestingly,the cover photo has nothing to do with Dick Van Dyke's interview (with a"New York Correspondent"). Instead, the actor makes a point as to whyhe refuses to accept film roles that promote adultery, drunkenness and are filledwith ultra-sexy double meanings. Here, he references that he has beenteaching a Sunday School class at Hollywood Presbyterian Church since the early1950's. While he is pictured in the articlewith co-star Mary TylerMoore, there is nomention of Julie Andrews or Walt Disney. Still,the following yearVan Dyke would star in another Walt Disney film,Lt.Robin Crusoe, U.S.N.(1966).
Notably, the magazine also features an interview withoriginalI Love Lucystar Vivian Vance... also about toconclude her recurring role on Lucille Ball's next television sitcom,TheLucy Show. The article reflects on her successful collaborationwith Lucy. Though the professional collaboration was about to come to anend, she was quoted as saying "We'll always be just Lucy and Viv"...and that their "friendship, of course, will continue on."(Vance ultimately went on to appear in several episodes as a guest starin in Lucy's third series,Here's Lucy.)
Also of note, Sunday night television in Australia stillfeatured the originalDisneylandtelevision program(that week featured "Behind the True-Life Cameras" and "TheOlympic Elk.")... which had still not changed its name toWaltDisney's Wonderful World of Color.

Condition:Good condition;with wear from use and subsequent long-term storage. Wear noticed alongbinding, as pictured. Still, today this magazine is nearly impossible tofind... capturing one the most beloved performances in Dick Van Dyke's career.
