DUST BOWL HISTORY from the Forties * Weedpatch, CA * Grapes of Wrath Steinbeck DUST BOWL HISTORY from the Forties * Weedpatch, CA * Grapes of Wrath Steinbeck Both of my parents spent time in migrant camps and schools, as their parents traveled the west coast picking fruit and vegetables. I happen to live in Bakersfield, but my jaw dropped when I saw these at an estate sale in nearby Arvin, CA. Folks, do yourselves a favor and google Weedpatch Camp. These are handmade books chronicling the Weedpatch Grange. And my goodness, there's treasure in the pages. There are five books, each only a few pages. Take a good look at the photos. The condition is certainly not new, but this stuff is at least 80 years old. Will be shipped with SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION required. Questions? Just ask!
