FULL DISCLOSURE- This stone is NOT natural and untreated. I've taken this stone out of my personal collection. I began tumbling this stone only in aluminum oxide and didn't have enough media in the bowl so it fractured. I had plans to make something out of it but now am willing to pass it to another artisan. As you can see the outer rind has began to polish with some pits still remaining. Inside is untouched with aluminum oxide.
Interesting sight to see the silica droplets are not just 2D if you thought they would just be on the outer rind but actually 3rd dimensional making this a unique experience out of something tragic.
I was devastated when it broke but something still can be made with this Specimen.
