Here we have an 8" x 10" photo of the Whaling ship, Wanderer. Wanderer was the last whaling ship to leave New Bedford and was lost a short time later. This was actually a movie photo. Wanderer was used in the 1922 silent movie, "Down to the Sea in Ships". If you ever watch the film, the "Charles Morgan" is, in reality, the actual "Wanderer".
