This listing is for a high-quality Orthodox Christian icon of Christ Blessing, produced in the Byzantine tradition and hand-finished with genuine 18kt gold leaf.
Each icon is made in Greece using museum-quality serigraphy, a fine reproduction technique used to preserve the linework, color, and sacred composition of traditional iconography. The icon is then hand-finished on wood, giving each piece a reverent and elevated presence for prayer, home display, or gifting.
The Masterwork version is mounted on carved wood with a raised surface, traditional red border, larger gold presence, and hand-finished 18kt gold leaf detailing. This version has more dimensional depth and a more premium presentation.
Religious Meaning
The Christ Blessing icon depicts Christ offering His blessing, often with the Gospel in hand. It is a traditional devotional icon used in prayer and reflection on the mercy and authority of Christ.
Orthodox icons are not simply decorative religious art. They are part of the living visual tradition of the Church and are often used in prayer corners, churches, chapels, and homes as reminders of Christ, the saints, and the saving events of the Christ Blessing
