Reate was making the chinese models of the Ultramar before being discontinued. I have no idea who is making these clones now. I carry one myself daily . Box has slight wear.. this is NOT USA MADE . This is china . This is what I would call a super clone of the original. knives. I own a few USA and the difference is hard to tell. The price is great for this knife. I am very impressed with the action, slow tilt closing , scales etc. I keep it honest. if it was junk, I wouldn't sell these. Each is fully inspected and tested for any flaws. Haven't found any issues. People at work love these. My fellow collecter friends love these. Fast shipping no returns.
For the money, you should be impressed . Why risk carrying your expensive knife when you can rest assured and carry this.
This is the very same knife others are selling for more. Mine are priced to sell. My response speaks for itself. I am the only one to admit that these are clones ... I can not accept returns considering I have been very clear on what you are getting
