Traditional Chaplain to His Holiness (Monsignor) cassock, tailored in classic Roman style in black with the distinctive fuchsia piping and matching covered buttons proper to a Chaplain to His Holiness.
This appears to be a CM Almy cassock, although there is no manufacturer's label present.
The cassock features a full row of fuchsia-covered buttons, fuchsia piping around the collar and down the front, traditional buttoned cuffs, three deep rear pleats with embroidered Trinity darts, side pocket openings, and contrasting interior trim. It is half-lined through the torso and sleeves.
The fuchsia appointments are proper to a Chaplain to His Holiness and distinguish this cassock from those made for other grades of prelate or bishops, which traditionally use amaranth red.
