Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Bulova Accutron Model 214 brass desk clock (Model D2051 R) featuring a rare Swiss-made movement, beautifully customized and brought back to life.
Movement & Functionality:
This clock is fully running and keeping excellent time. This is a desirable Swiss model, identifiable by the clean movement plate layout lacking the standard US alphanumeric date codes. It has been carefully phased to run on a modern 1.55V battery, bypassing the need for obsolete mercury batteries. Please note that while it is running accurately, it has not undergone a full mechanical service overhaul.
Custom Modifications:
This piece has been uniquely converted into a Spaceview model utilizing a custom, high-quality transparent dial that beautifully showcases the iconic copper coils and Swiss electronic tuning fork movement inside.

• The original factory dial, allowing the next owner to convert it back to its original configuration if desired.

• Engraving: The upper brass trim plate of the clock casing is personalized/engraved with "J.E. FANNIN".
• Rear Cover: The original back cover plate is not included; the rear mechanical movement compartment remains open as shown in photos.
• Hardware: One small screw is missing from the base/feet structure. This does not impact the clock’s structural stability or desktop balance.
• Cosmetics: Shows light age-appropriate patina and minor surface wear on the brass casing. Please review the high-resolution photos closely for exact cosmetic condition.
