Subject & Archival Details:Antique divided-back postcard depicting Park Street Church, pedestrians, horse-drawn carriages, and historic Boston Subway entrances at Boston Common. Printed with a decorative metallic gold ink outer border on the recto. Features an intriguing factory print misregistration error on the verso: while the physical card was cut correctly relative to the recto layout, the verso plate impression was printed significantly off-register, running off the top edge and displaying the upper text line from the adjacent card frame along the bottom edge. Published under stock number 5016 with an unidentified CJB monogram shield logo mark on verso.

Condition Description:Very Good (VG) condition. Strong structural corners and bright metallic gold border on recto. Verso exhibits a distinct water stain along the left edge and faint dealer pencil notations. Note: Includes a factory verso print misregistration error (plate printing shift).
