Original early run of Bigfoot News, published by the Bigfoot Information Center in The Dalles, Oregon and edited by noted Bigfoot researcher Peter Byrne and Celia Killeen.This lot includes 14 separate early issues, covering #2 through #15, with only #3 missing.One of the most interesting features of the run is an apparent original publisher numbering error. There are two completely different issues both printed as “Number Twelve.” One is dated September 1975 and the following issue is dated October 1975. Based on the sequence, the October issue should logically have been Number 13, but the publisher appears to have repeated the Number 12 designation. Both distinct issues are included.These newsletters contain contemporary 1970s material concerning Bigfoot/Sasquatch sightings, investigations, researchers, footprint reports, expedition news, eyewitness accounts, and developments in the early Bigfoot research community.A major collector point is the extremely small circulation of the earliest issues. Issue #2 states a circulation of only 500 copies. By approximately Issue #50, circulation had grown to around 5,000 copies — roughly ten times the circulation of the earliest issues. This helps illustrate just how limited the early numbers in this lot were compared with later issues.Lot includes:

Overall very nice vintage condition for publications dating from 1974–1975. The issues show light handling and storage wear consistent with age. Some retain their original subscriber mailing labels and light mailing folds/creases, which are expected for newsletters originally sent through the mail. Please examine all photos carefully for exact condition.This is an unusually strong, nearly consecutive early run of Bigfoot News, beginning with the scarce second issue and including the unusual duplicate-#12 numbering error.Excellent material for collectors of Bigfoot, Sasquatch, Peter Byrne, cryptozoology, paranormal research, Forteana, and vintage Bigfoot ephemera. Will be shipped in an oversized box for protection.
