What makes this set particularly appealing is its clever stacking design. The creamer nests neatly on top of the sugar bowl, creating an attractive compact display when the pieces are not in use.
Both pieces feature a softly textured, basketweave-style body with delicate trailing shamrocks. The creamer has a graceful pouring lip and Belleek's distinctive naturalistic handle with brown and green accents. The sugar bowl carries the same shamrock decoration and complementary form.
Both pieces bear the Belleek Ireland mark on the underside.
The set displays beautifully and has the wonderfully light, almost translucent appearance for which Belleek porcelain is known.
Please examine all photographs carefully, including the close-ups of the Belleek marks, as they form an important part of the description and show the condition and decorative details.
Included:
- 1 Belleek shamrock creamer
- 1 Belleek shamrock sugar bowl
- Two pieces total
A lovely example of classic Irish Belleek, and an especially attractive set for a Belleek collector because the two pieces were designed to stack together.
