Vintage Adue Tosin! Italy. Getting harder to find these older “two faced” wall plaques. Two faced in that even though this is a wall plaque, three dimensional, both sides of the roosters face is beautifully hand painted. Some of their roosters are said to have “personality” based upon the time and effort some of their artists put into the facial expressions of the animals they painted. Basically some have better and more expressive faces than other pieces. This older piece of Tosin Majolica does have that kind of detail, a great face, and is well done. (A bit of side eye with a small frown, kind of funny actually). It measures approximately 15x10x3”. It is in very good used or preowned condition considering the age. It just hung on the wall in the same spot for many years. Please see pictures for Condition.
