Vintage Hand-Carved Wooden Bearded Man Folk Art Figure / Ornament
Unique small vintage folk-art piece featuring a hand-carved wooden bearded man with expressive facial details, a textured carved beard and a large white fur/faux-fur hat or head covering.
The figure has a wonderful primitive, rustic character and appears to be individually handmade rather than mass-produced. A metal chain and hanging loop are incorporated into the piece, giving it the appearance of an ornament or hanging decorative figure.
The underside has a handwritten inscription/signature that appears to read “Don …”. I have photographed this detail for the buyer to examine.
