This postcard, published between 1901-1907, shows the vault of Charles Collins in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Ashtabula, OH. He was the Chief Engineer for the L.S. & M.S. Railroad at the time of the Ashtabula bridge disaster, December 29th, 1876. Although charged with the responsibility of maintaining the bridge, he was not the design engineer. Collins died Jan 17, 1877.
This vintage postcard was published by J. J. Lee of Ashtabula Harbor, Ohio and Printed in Great Britain. The card will ship USPS first class mail letter, sleeved and in a stiff cardboard mailer.
