You are looking at a pristine Anton Schneider 1-Day Musical Cuckoo Clock, Model MT 2263/10, handcrafted in the Black Forest region of Germany. This clock was stored in its original factory carton from the day it was made and shows no signs of ever having been operated or wall-mounted.
THE CLOCK
Case maker: Anton Schneider, one of the most celebrated names in Black Forest cuckoo clock craftsmanship, known for exceptional hand-carved detail and quality construction.
Movement: Regula 1-day mechanical movement. The Regula name is synonymous with precision and reliability in Black Forest clockmaking and remains one of the most respected movement manufacturers in the world.

MUSIC
This clock features a 22-note Swiss Romance musical movement that plays two beloved melodies alternating each hour, Der fröhliche Wanderer (The Happy Wanderer) and Edelweiss (R. Rodgers). The music plays in conjunction with the cuckoo call, creating the full traditional Black Forest experience.
ANIMATIONS
This clock is alive with movement: Animated dancing couple on the upper balcony, moving on the hour. Functioning water wheel on the side of the chalet. Clock peddler figure. Cuckoo bird calls on the hour and half hour.
