Beautiful original antique biscuit tin made by W. & R. Jacob & Co. (Liverpool & Dublin), dating to approximately 1910–1925. This premium counter/display tin features deeply embossed birds perched among fruiting branches on all four sides and the lid, in a refined Japonesque / chinoiserie style.

• Maker: W. & R. Jacob & Co. (biscuit manufacturers)
• Period: Early 20th century (approx. 1915–25)
• Footed base and lift-off lid with integral handle
• Original multi-color painted finish over black ground
• Embossed floral/fruit motif on lid

This is a rare higher-end Jacob’s retail display tin, not a later reproduction. A standout piece for collectors of early biscuit tins, advertising, tea & food packaging, or Edwardian decorative metalware.
